Who are Discovery+?

Discovery+ is a streaming platform offering a vast selection of content from popular networks like Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, and Animal Planet. Launched in January 2021, it provides viewers with access to a diverse range of documentaries, reality shows, lifestyle programming, and exclusive originals, catering to a wide variety of interests.

The Brief

As collaborators in Discovery+’s Ghostober, a seasonal October event, we collaborated closely with event organisers to craft an eerie ambiance that stirred up feelings of mystery, suspense, and excitement. Our goal was to transport participants into a realm where the unknown beckoned from every shadow, setting imaginations ablaze with anticipation and thrilling encounters.

Event Day

The event was held at Bleeding Heart’s also known as The Crypt! The Crypt is a subterranean venue located beneath London. It’s known for its atmospheric setting, with vaulted ceilings, stone walls, and dim lighting, which might evoke a slightly eerie or mysterious ambiance, especially when set up for events like themed parties.

Guests mingled and enjoyed specially crafted spooky cocktails while socialising with fellow attendees. Later, they seated for dinner where they indulged in delicious food and drinks, with themed menu items and decor enhancing the Halloween atmosphere. This transition from cocktails to a seated meal allowed guests to seamlessly shift from mingling to enjoying a more formal dining experience, all while embracing the festive spirit of Halloween.
